In room P1.7.09.3 every student of the Department of Electrical Engineering will find a place for self-study, exchange and common learning.
Latest News
- The basic tutorial of electrical engineering offers a PANDA course, where everything about the tutorial can be found clearly arranged. From opening hours to information and transcripts. The PANDA course of the winter semester is also valid in the current summer semester.
- Technical writing now takes place in the summer semester on Wednesdays at 16:00 in P1.6.11. Anyone who would like to work on the topic or is about to write their thesis is welcome to attend.
- The tutor training for engineers offers future tutors a good opportunity to improve their skills and gain confidence in their own course. The first date will take place on Thu, 24.04.2025 at 12:00 in P1.3.02.
- In the first episode of Current Affairs, the new electrical engineering podcast from Paderborn University, the tutors of the basic tutorial talk about the second semester and how best to master it.

General Information
The LZET offers room for about 35 students. Being equipped with tables including sockets, lockers, whiteboards, beamer and a speaker’s desk, it facilitates flexible working for each learning project. If you have queries or wish to exchange on student issues, a member of the institute will be ready to assist you.
The learning center of electrical engineering offers room for self-learning but also provides the opportunity for exchange and collaboration with fellow students.

Opening times
The LZET can be entered with a pool room card (further information under: Magnetic cards for pool room use) and can therefore be used at any time during university opening hours.
