The Electrical Engineering Podcast "Current Affairs": Episode 15 - Dual study programme

 |  EI-Nachrichten

In the fifteenth episode of the Electrical Engineering podcast "Current Affairs", Anastacia Ebers talks to our host, Tim Hetkämper, about the dual study programme.

The dual study programme combines an apprenticeship with a degree course. It therefore consists of practical parts in a company and theoretical parts at university. The exact implementation can vary depending on the company. Our guest Anastacia Ebers chose the dual study programme at the technology company Infineon in Warstein. She completed her Bachelor's degree at the South Westphalia University of Applied Sciences in Soest. For her Master's degree, she switched to Paderborn University, where she completes her studies during the lecture period and regularly works at the company during the semester break.
In the podcast episode, Anastacia Ebers explains the challenges and opportunities that a dual study programme brings, who it is suitable for and what tips there are. She concludes that she would choose the dual study programme again at any time.
