As part of Campus OWL, the New York Office of the University of Paderborn invites applications for internships with companies in the New York metropolitan region through the Professional Experience Program (PEP). The stays can be funded within the framework of the PROMOS programme:
PEP is your opportunity to gain valuable work experience in an international environment. The program includes an internship in a company/organization in the New York metropolitan area, a one-week preparatory skills seminar and a virtual workshop after your time abroad. Campus OWL New York will match you with one of our partnering companies/organizations depending on your field of study and/or previous work experience. The internship will last for approx. 11 weeks giving you the chance to get to know the company/organization, grow with new challenges, learn what it means to be working abroad and enhance your future employability.
Students must be enrolled at one of the five OWL universities (Bielefeld University, Paderborn University, Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences, OWL University of Applied Sciences and Arts, Detmold University of Music).
Possible fields of study:
Business/Economics, Engineering, Sound Engineering, Architecture, Natural Sciences, Social Sciences, Humanities
J-1 visa holders are excluded from activities such as teaching, health/medical, and in the arts (musicians, singers).
