With the beginning of the winter semester 2023/2024, 45 international students will start their studies in the master programs at the Faculty of Computer Science, Electrical Engineering and Mathematics. To welcome the students at the University of Paderborn, the Welcome Week was launched on 2nd October. During this week, basic information about the Paderborn University as well as important things about the start of studies were provided. Similar to the orientation phase for Bachelor students, the Welcome Week enabled the new Master students to get started with everyday life at the university. The new Dean of Studies, Prof. Dr. Katrin Temmen, first warmly welcomed the new students to our faculty and introduced the university as well as the faculty. In the course of the week, the students got to know the important details of their study program as well as the offers of the student council, the assistance system PAUL, the university sports and the International Office.

The faculty maintains four international master's programs: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Systems Engineering and Optoelectronics and Photonics in which 296 students are currently enrolled at the Paderborn University.
