In the 26th episode of the Electrical Engineering podcast ‘Current Affairs’, André Becker talks to our host, Jan Beinfohr, about the Electrical Engineering Student Advisory Service and why it’s worth popping in.
André Becker is part of the Electrical Engineering Student Advisory Service team. His main role there is to answer students’ questions or help them find the right person to contact. Unlike the Central Student Advisory Service, this service is on offer for the study programmes in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering with a specialisation in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Systems Engineering and the teacher education degree programmes in Electrical Engineering. The advisory service can be contacted during open consultation hours, which are listed on the website (https://ei.uni-paderborn.de/studium/beratung-und-unterstuetzung/studienberatung), or by email at any time. As well as providing advice, they also organise the Electrical Engineering Fair, known asE2-Day, which you can listen to in episode 2. In this episode, André explains who is on offer and shares some of his tips.
