At the 29th Workshop "Methods and Description Languages for Modelling and Verification of Circuits and Systems" (MBMV), which took place on 17 and 18 March 2026 at the Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg, scientists from the Institute of Electrical Engineering at Paderborn University were awarded the "MBMV Best Paper Award".
Among numerous contributions, the paper "Truly Scalable Grids of RISC-V Processors with Local Memories" by Lars Luchterhandt, Vivek Govindasamy, Yutong Wang, Rainer Dömer, Wolfgang Müller and Christoph Scheytt particularly impressed the reviewers.
The award was presented by workshop chairmen Professor Matthias Jung and Professor Daniel Müller-Gritschneder. The award-winning work was the result of an international collaboration between the Circuit Technology group led by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Christoph Scheytt at the Heinz Nixdorf Institute at Paderborn University and Prof. Rainer Dömer from the University of California, Irvine (USA).
The Institute of Electrical Engineering at Paderborn University congratulates the scientists involved on this success.
