Tbit/s fiberoptic data transmission using DQPSK and polarization division multiplex
See here for current optical C band capacity world record over distances of at least 250 km. In this project our current world record shall be pushed beyond, going over longer fiber lengths. Increasing the automation of laboratory equipment operation and carrying out the actual data transmission experiment are the tasks to be fulfilled. We have other similar projects available if there is interest
