Information on the teacher training option: Mechanical and Electrical Engineering with Education Studies components

The Mechanical Engineering (B.Sc.) and Electrical Engineering (B.Sc.) degree programmes can also be studied at UPB with Education Studies components. In addition to a career in industry, this also opens up the opportunity to work as a teacher at vocational colleges. In the specialisation area of the Bachelor's degree (5th/6th semester), students then take courses in educational science/vocational education and didactics totalling 18 and 6 credit points respectively (instead of compulsory electives). The Bachelor's degree is followed by the Master of Education with two affine specialisations (major and minor vocational specialisation).
