Transition Scenarios of Energy Systems
In this course, aspects of different energy transition scenarios are analysed. Students are guided to critically read current studies on regional, national and international energy transition scenarios and to highlight essential core elements of individual topics (e.g. role of industry, mobility transition, heat transition, hydrogen economy). The students identify relevant aspects and understand their modelling and evaluation. Based on this, differences and similarities are worked out. Finally, the students present their topic to the other seminar participants within the framework of a presentation. In this course, aspects of different energy transition scenarios are analysed.
