En­ergy ef­fi­ciency in in­dustry

This course is aimed at bachelor students in electrical engineering. In this lecture, topics on energy efficiency, energy supply and load management concepts in industry and the manufacturing sector are dealt with using simple case studies. The focus is on the importance of industrial and commercial energy demand for a successful energy turnaround, methods for identifying and evaluating energy efficiency potentials, and opportunities for increasing energy efficiency in cross-sectoral technologies.
