Bachelor Electrical Engineering

For the first time, the Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering offers the opportunity to choose between the three specialisation areas of Automation Technology, Information Technology and Microsystems Technology in addition to the compulsory subject. Furthermore, there is the possibility of completing the 2nd study section in a VET-oriented variant, so that all requirements for the Master's programme "Teaching profession at vocational colleges with a major vocational specialisation in Electrical Engineering and a minor vocational specialisation in Automation Technology or Information Technology" are met.

Master Electrical Engineering

In the Master of Electrical Engineering, students can choose from six catalogues, the so-called study models.  You can choose between Energy and Environment, Cognitive Systems, Communication Technology, Microelectronics, Optoelectronics and Process Dynamics. Three of these six catalogues must be selected. Two courses are selected from each catalogue. One of these selected catalogues represents the specialisation with two further subjects.
