Regenerative energy supply of a mountain station

Topic 0

Replacement of a tunnel lighting (36 neon tubes) in the mountain with LED lamps. Power supply by PV generator, buffering by the existing accumulator. Difficulties: Strong thunderstorm activity causing overvoltages and already destroyed some trial LEDs of the operator.

Task: Development of a concept for the substitution of existing diesel generators by regenerative energy converters.

Sufficient PV to switch off the 180 kW diesel from 10-14 o'clock, buffering via battery


Topic II

Task: Development of a concept for the substitution of existing diesel generators by regenerative energy converters.

Entire summer half-year via PV, small diesel generator only in very bad weather (there is still a 60 kW night diesel available).


Topic III

Task: Development of a concept for the substitution of existing diesel generators by regenerative energy converters.

Complete autonomy, including heating, through PV and an H-rotor wind generator (there is a storm in winter)
